If you’re looking for a specific Airbnb listing, it can be difficult to find if you don’t know the host’s name. While Airbnb does not have a way to search properties by host, there are two ways that you can do it. In this article, we will show you how to search Airbnb listings by host using their profile and Google search operators.

How To Search Airbnb Listings by Host
Whether you’re a first-time Airbnb user or you’ve been using the platform for years, there may come a time when you need to find an Airbnb listing by its host.
This could be because you want to stay at a specific listing that you’ve stayed at before, or because you want to find all of the listings that a specific host has so you can spam them with marketing material (don’t ask us how we know).
Unfortunately, Airbnb does not have a way to directly search properties by host. However, that isn’t going to stop us, because there are two methods that you can use to find the listing that you’re looking for.
You are going to need to know at least a few things for this to be successful:
- The Hosts Name: If you know the name of the person who owns the listing, then finding their profile is going to be a breeze.
- Property Location: You’re going to need to know at least the city or town that the listing is in, as this will help you to find it.
- Property Name: This one isn’t essential, but if you can remember the name of the listing then it will make finding it a lot easier.
If you don’t know the name of the host, then you can try searching for a specific listing that you know they have, more on that below. Once you’re on that listing’s page, the host’s name will be listed under their profile picture.
Method 1: Browsing The Host’s Profile
This is going to be the easiest method if you already know a listing that the host has. Start by going to the Airbnb website and open up the listing in question.
Once the listing page has loaded, scroll down and take a look under the host’s profile picture towards the bottom of the page, where it says “Hosted by NAME”.
Here you will see the name of the person who owns the listing, as well as how long they’ve been a member of Airbnb and how many reviews they have. Click on their profile picture and you’ll be taken to their personal profile page.
On the host’s profile page, you will see all of the listings that they currently have available as well as any that they may have had in the past. Here is where you’ll be able to find all of the properties they are hosting.
Method 2: Using Google Search Operators
With this method, we can narrow our search down to find exactly what we’re looking for.
This method is a little more advanced because it requires the use of Google search operators. If you’re not familiar with these, they are special characters that can be used in a Google search to help narrow down the results.
For our purposes, we’re going to be using the “site:” operator, along with some of the information we already know, such as the hosts name, location of the property we are looking for, or possibly even its name.
This will tell Google that we only want to see results from a specific website. In our case, that website is going to be Airbnb.
For this example, we are going to find all of the listings from a host called “Vacasa Washington” because they have a lot of listings from all over the State, which makes it difficult to sort through. Then we are going to find their properties in a specific location, and finally we will find a specific property.
The first thing you’re going to want to do is open up Google and in the search bar, type in “site:airbnb.com” followed by the name of the city or town that the listing is located in, and the phrase “Hosted by Vacasa Washington”. This will give you a list of all Airbnb listings in that specific location.
But let’s say you don’t remember the location, but you do remember that it was hosted by them and you want to find a specific listing.
In this case, use the site operator again, followed by the hosts name and some phrases from the listings title that you can remember. So it would look like this: “site:airbnb.com Hosted by Vacasa Washington watch sunset from your deck”.
Voila. We just found a specific listing from all 307 that they have in Washington State.
Pros And Cons of Searching Airbnb by Host
As easy as all of this seems to be, that doesn’t mean there aren’t some drawbacks and caveats that you should be aware of. These methods aren’t perfect, but they are the only ones that currently exist because Airbnb doesn’t have a way of searching by host.
So before you get too excited, here are some things you should keep in mind.
Pros:
- You can find all listings from one host in one place, which can be helpful if you’re looking for multiple properties in the same area or if you want to book with a specific host.
- You can find a specific listing if you know the host’s name, location, or something about the property.
- Hosts’ listings can be filtered by location.
- You can see the hosts reviews and how professional they are.
Cons
- Can be difficult to find a specific listing if you don’t know the host’s name or anything about the listing.
- The search results can be overwhelming if the host has a lot of listings.
- You can’t filter by amenities, price, or other factors.
- You need to already know what you’re looking for.
